oh, I'm pretty sure I'm in roo trouble - they all have combs of some sort. some are tall and spikey and others look like a smushed something.
The photo is a bit fuzzy for me but I'd say that black one is definitely a cockerel.

When I bought this guy at 7 months (he was just recovering from molt) he carried his wings like this.
About a month later I put him in with my pullets and though they were very nice to him he dropped his wings down
and it's been two months and they are still down. Anyone experience that?

He looks like mine sort of does. I have another rooster though that overdominates him, is he your only roo. If he is, i'm not sure what's wrong. if he isn't, does the other roo get after him.

He is the only one in that pen and he's pretty aggresvie to me, often pecking at my feet in a very warning way. Occasionally I hold him down until he quits fighting me and he will leave me alone for a while.

Mine got me today just as I put hm in. It really made me mad. I'm going to be moving mine in a while to breed the silkie hens. Right now he is in with brahmas. His wings used to be like you roos were when I had his brothers. i'll let you know if they change.
