They were shipped, and traveled from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. Both my batches from the same breeder did exceptionally well. 8/10 first hatch 10/14 second hatch. 

 

I have had eggs from West Coast do really well before. It all just depends on how well they are packed, how the PO handles them, if they are X-rayed or not, etc etc. 

 

I had eggs from South Carolina (one state away) that did poorly, alot of loose aircells - PO was not nice to that box must have gotten X-rayed or shook up alot.

actually no these guys are from Geri Godina - shipped eggs 10 of 14 hatched so I can NOT complain at all, and they are AMAZING! 2 of my partridge girls are on eggs and the other is still not laying even though her 1 chick is 5 weeks old *sigh* so I am not getting any of my own partridge eggs right now, do have 2 of Jonah's kids in the brooder though. 



 Awww, the silkie trials! barnie.gif But what a great hatch!! I have Catdance eggs in the bator right now and so far it's going well. No loose air cells. My last shipment from Michigan was really well packed but all air cells were loose and none hatched.
