Bought two beautiful silkie hens today! One is a light buff and the other is a dark splash. They are beautiful girls after all my loss I am so excited to have them!

I think I'll try to candle one this evening.

 

I do have another hen expecting babies in just a couple days, so if nothing, when her's hatch, I'll know something went wrong with this bunch. Unfortunately, she has no silkie eggs under her.  hmm.png

I will post pics later the guy I got them from was from craigslist but said they are from eggs he got from Tom at kentuckysilkies. Which is awesome because all my previous flock was from Tom as well!
