Thanks for the guesses everyone. I'm starting to get kind of worried though, everyone I ask has been saying it looks like a rooster.

but while i was away out of the 5 silkies that i've been wondering if they were going to girls or end up roo's my eldest Nugget (though not a full silkie) 5 months and 2 weeks LAID!!! eek! now i got two laying girls.
such a pretty little egg.... really little in comparison to my plymouth-Henny's egg...
aww yeah i almost thought i was fake when i saw it
... but i have a question, or perhaps some of you out there have experienced... my 2nd eldest-Peaches she 4 months and a week seems to be attached to Nuggets's hip...when nugget goes in the basket to lay peaches insist on perching on the basket or sitting right next to Nugget while she lays... could this mean that Peaches is indeed a pullet? or is it wishful thinking ...lol (1 down- 4 more to go ((hoping for all girls)) )Great news!!! My two splash pullets are absolutely glued together. So maybe!
eek one would only hope :) now i just got to figure out a nesting box/basket that my ducks wont take over lol... i've been placing a fake egg in the nesting basket so that when nugget lays she lay in the basket and re-training henny to lay in a basket cause out of no where she started laying in the dirt inbetween the duckhouse and fence
... but i've been finding the boy duck sitting on the fake eggs...such a strange duck, only reason i know he's a boy cause he just got his drake feathers in... and in 6 weeks or so the girl duck will be ready to lay...
not only does he sit on the fake eggs he will gaurd my henny while she lays lol he thinks she's a duck.... or perhaps he thinks he is a chicken lol

I don't have any good new pictures of the silkie chicks, so I tried to get a couple quickies to share.
Here's some of the gang, while I pass out bread. A few of the silkie chicks are with their "mom," the white hen.
Here's some close ups..

My silkies lay just about anywhere they feel like it! My roo will sit on the eggs if they are laying in the dirt. It's like he's trying to protect them. I was thinking about naming my splash girls salt and pepper cause they are always together and one is darker than the other.
