Silkie thread! - Page 1746

 jumpy.gif  My chick HATCHED today!!!  jumpy.gif It must have hatched about an hour ago.  We ran into town and it had just poked a hole through.  This one has the same size vault as the last one I hatched from my pair.  Geez-- they look crazy huge.  I'm soooo excited!  I can't see the toes, I'm anxious to see if I get the missing toe nail with this one too.  This is also the egg I jumped the gun on, so it'll be two more days before the rest hatch.  Here it is in my Brinsea:

Hey ScaredofShadows....I told you I had a girl that looked like your 'Orange Sherbet' boy...this little girl is only 2 months old...I think 'Sherbet' is a good name for her as well...can I steal it from you?

 

sorry +not the best pics as I was taking them from above in their pen after I gave them some clumps of grass...

and here is my favorite little guy at the moment...when he was a fluffy chick I thought he was a paint at first as he was black and white spotted...but he is an awesome looking splash...

Wow! Those are gorgeous colors! I want a splash like that!!!! And the sherbet color is beautiful! What are you guys crossing to get that color?

Lol....I like Blizzard! as a name...thanks....and all these guys came from Catdance Silkies so I did not breed them...but I did get two other beautiful porcelain and one lavender chick hatch so maybe she is a porcelain? color just very light lav. and bark buff? Could that be it?
