post #18265 of 352005/8/12 at 9:03amOK, so here are a few pictures. The first one is of the white baby I asked about [the others are just for fun of the other 3 chicks]. I have to add that when I got her/him out for the photo shoot [haha], I rolled the feathers around in my fingers and while they look like a regular feather, they did not actually seem attached with barbs. Have they just not fluffed out then? :)

post #18268 of 352005/8/12 at 9:24amThank you, thank you. Sorry about my newbie badness being confused about the silkie feathers! I sure hope it's a girl--this one has such big eyes and always looks at me when I talk to them. Time will tell!
The black one is the absolute sweetest and will cuddle in my palm all the time. But she is growing white feathers on her toes! Ack. Oh well. If that's not baby fluff and is permanent, she's very black everywhere else.
