so since i haven't posted a picture of my muffin lately , figured why not ? lol out of the original 3 pastries she ended up being the only pullet, she's a very fluffy one and my 1 year old's favorite. she really loves sitting and petting her & cupcake (muffin's bestie) ...

Haha! This has got to be a cockerel. He looks like he can't get into the coop?? He leaps in there and tears around the place! I ended up putting a small ramp so it would be easier, and he bypasses it! I had run out of waterers for the outside pen with chicks, so I put a stainless steel bowl in a ditch I dug out for it to sit in. Put some rocks in the bottom in case anyone of the babies fell in, and this little dude found it all by himself. Some of the adults went to their pan this morning, so this little guy bellies up to HIS bowl, and just starts drinking like the rest of them! The girls were all excited and cackleing like, "be careful! don't fall in the water!!!" He didn't, and if he did, it is an easy out with the rocks in there. I am so glad I let them all set on these eggs, now for the Partridge girls to see some hatching! Every last Silkie girl of age has gone broody here! th.gif

YEAH THEY LOVE HER :) the silkies are her favorites ( they are mine toowink.png)  my husband loves our plymouth but she has competition with the polish (he adores them like i adore my fuzz butts lol.png) and well my 3 year old loves them all but she's wanting me to get 2 show girls and name them lemon and flour lol she already has names pick out... tell her that i will maybe or that im trying to get eggs for us to hatch in a incubator... she's super excited. ooo silkies love.gif
