More importantly..................what will her DH say? tongue.png

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

Yep! Whatcha going to do when you get more broodies? You're going to have the super sized flock of Icelandics! gig.gif

I'm hoping at least five go broody so I can put those eggs under them on day 18!!!.....and another three or four to put the Isbar, Ams, OEggers and Campines under!! lol.png They are so much more well-equipped than me to raise them! Speaking of broodies...............I though maybe Kleo was considering another try but there were five eggs in that coop so she's still laying but..........she's not leaving the nest.............one "down"..........eight to go!! lau.gif

No experience, I'm sure there would be barking involved. They do recognize hawks as predators and keep their eyes on them.

Kara 11 weeks.jpg

This is Kara, one of my 11 week old girls.  I love her caramel color so much, do you know if she will keep it, or is it too early to tell?

Kara is adorable!
