Angeleggster.............Welcome!   Hate to be the one to burst your bubble, but you have a cockerel.

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

Thanks Molly!

Watch those Icelandics. Two of mine were already hatched when I went to lock them down and they were still on the turner. Overnight 9 more hatched and one pipped and died. The assortment is really nice with no white ones at all. I have a hobble on one little guy who had a leg stuck under the divider rail while riding the turner. I think it will be fine tomorrow. It's the little light colored one that just did a face plant as I took the picture.

This one is cute:

My broody abandoned her 4 Isbar eggs and I found them stone cold. I put them in the incubator just in case and they are all alive and well today. Problem is, I have no idea when they are due to hatch.

I appreciate the offer Molly but I am fine.

I hate doing the hobble but when it works it's magic.
