Hi-

I have a 2 week old EE chick who is panting and seemingly not feeling great. I found some Polyvisol with fluoride in our medicine cabinet. Would the flouride hurt her? It does not have added iron. I can go out and get the kind without fluoride if that's what I should use. Thanks.

Very old thread I know and I don't have any sick chickens, but I'm wondering the same thing about the Poly Vi Sol with Fluoride. Since most municipal water sources have Fluoride added and there are many chickens that are given this water and have no problems, then would it cause problems to give the vitamin drops with the Fluoride in them every now and again to chickens?

Will go check my new bottle of vitamins.... but have assured no IRON... that's the mandatory from what I've learned. (tick tock tick tock)

Well mine doesn't have any fluoride in it, and as many city waters do include it..... who knows, but I would think any additional fluoride probably should be avoided.... maybe it'll strengthen the hen's teeth!!! Haaaa haaaaa
