Some birds are smarter than others and just follow. Others are either contrary or just plain dumb.
In Europe we have the same breeds and colors as you in US but the standard is a bit different.
I think that blue laced red wyandottes are not recognized yet, am I right?!? I said that because these teo are similar, not the same but very close and my has single comb.
Roosters, hm. I don't know what to say about them. They don't chase each other anymore but for some reason little rooster is scared to death and when my rooster gets near him he gets panic attack.
I let them out of the run yesterday before dark and just a few of them went outside. They don't go far from the coop and just 7 girls were out. I guess it was because I let them just a bit too late. Today I will let them out around 10 am. Oh and yes, they came to coop all by themselves.
