Your babies are so lovely. I am regretting my decision to wait on getting more NN. Right now I am struggling with the EEs I am brooding for a friend, I have lost 6 of 25, far more than I normally lose. I normally will lose one to shipping stress. These babies were a day late getting here, and they were miserable, couldn't get warm and were dehydrated. Anyway, my 5 New Hampshire I added just for me are doing well. I am surprised at the problems I am having, EE's are usually as hardy as NNs.
I have to decide if I am going to do eggs or chicks later this spring. It will be the same number either way. Your splash babies are my favorite.

i just candled my Turken/Astrolorp eggs. They all 3 are good. Due to hatch The beginning of next week. are they ganna be black? mothers a red turken. fathers a black astralorp.

flower has been an overnight guest and is taking her chicks home today. I've been so busy planning the San Diego Meet up that was yesterday that I have been neglecting my duties to the NN thread.

Ok...I'll fess up....I posted that one picture because flower was showing me how to upload photos on the new forum. I wasn't able to figure it out on my own.
I promise, more pictures to follow. Your birds are looking great! Nava has some healthy chicks. Oh, and the chick in the pic IS a BLR.Can't wait to see more pictures! :o)
Oh and ummm don't worry about not figureing out the picture thing, took me quite a bit to figure out how the heck it works. Don't like this new BYC at all.. Very slow on Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and etc. I guess I'm just angry over the new change still. ![]()
Maralpz2006 - I have 22 NN chicks which consist of Reds, Blue Laced Red, Splash, Blue, Splash, and I think I may have a White but I'm not sure... Then the other 3 which make up the 25 are - Blue Orpington, Black mystery chick, and a Light Brahma.

yes black. likely have non-black(either white or brown on girls, either brown or "gold/cream" on boys, depending on australorp) showing up on them later. Black sex links are good example of how they might look.

The blue again. Much lighter than the other blues. Thought it was a splash at first, but now it's feathering out looks blue to me.
This one has the most naked neck of all of them.
One for the road just 'cause it's cute
