Naked Neck/Turken Thread - Page 354

Well that NAVA girl and her husband sure hatch out healthy chicks. Here a few of my eight out of 24 that made the trip from the good humid atmosphere of Florida to the good dry atmosphere of the southwestern US.  Next I need to take some which are not in silhouette.

Look my splash girl, with her beautiful black legs looks pink by reflection.  Yellow skin and feet are stands but I don't do "standards"  I Do Unique !   tee hee

Should we ?  Well it looks to far for me !

Someday we will be bigger and have more courage ???

There are two splash, one blue, two BLR and I think three black. Of course by the time my new gorgeous BLR is old enough to protect them well they will be grown up some.

BTW I need suggestions for names fro my cockerel ?

Aren't they huge?! I keep thinking I have all cockerels but I think it's because they are all so big and hearty looking.

Thanks for sharing smile.png

Thanks Marco and Lisa and everyone.   I set them up and gave them instructions so that I could make fun shots.  Actually they are some of the calmest chicks that I can remember having.

Here's a few of the chicks (haha no, not really chicks anymore) I hatched from DDD eggs this fall.

They are BEAUTIFUL !  I do not have any frizzles except one little buff laced polish and I do not want to use him for my breeding program. (Whenever I get around to breeding that is !  Lisa advised me to avoid buff.  I am not very good at hatching or I would buy eggs from DDD. Unless of course eggs that are shipped in the fall do better than the springtime eggs. I am thinking that the journey may be less apt to hit a cold snap in transit ?  Who knows ? But DDD has a wonderful flock of crazy birds. love.gif
