Naked Neck/Turken Thread - Page 357

Hi All,

I have been looking at these beautiful birds for a while but have to admit I have not looed at every post or for that matter every picture as there are so many pages. Gorgeous birds, so jealous. I am interested in getting a double factor NN Silkied Bantam already laying hen in either black wheaten partridge or one of the cryptic natural patterns( ie.) non white splash or mottled, though Mille Fleure  would do). I would consider a pullet if she is close to laying and guaranteed to not be a cockerel. Small bantam and double factorNN silkie are the most important traits though. If anyone has such a bird they would be willing to sell and ship I'd love t otalk to you more about it

. Thanks. .

NN are fun to breed.  Marco breed a NN with a mottled or silver laced bird.

My NNs chicks are so sweet at three weeks of age. I put three new EE chicks in with them and they acted like big sisters and are all have settled in so nicely.  I am impressed with how calm they are.

chickgrowerdan, you have some very interesting colors in your flock. I like the splash droolin.gif especially...just got some from Nava and am so anxious for them to feather out.

Here's a picture of Goldie, newly acquired from a CL ad, for my daughter Emily's bantam pen. She's calm and quite heavy. Named for her "gold eyebrows"... smile.png My daughter is six.

Here's Dipsy, purchased from a friend who hatched eggs from Dipsy Doodle Doo. She has such great features. Also in Emily's bantam pen.

Here's a 3 wk old chick from Nava. It's a splash, but it almost looks like a lavender. It's a BIG chick!
