winter goose housing in cold climates

I'm in North Dakota, but don't have pics... I just have an 8' x 10' shed with a covered wire run outside. The door is always open so they can go out to the run whenever they want to. No electricity, so I haul water and they eat snow. When it's around -30F and windy they spend time indoors, but most of they time they stay out. If you pack straw underneath, make sure that you don't have visitors move in there... like rats, skunks, coyotes, etc...

I have African Gray geese, and the only one that kept getting beat up was a goose, the ganders pretty much left each other alone. Even kept together year round, just the one girl kept getting beat up...
