Vet suggestion for non-invasive bumblefoot cure

Hello everyone. We are currently dealing with our first case of bumble foot. We have read through the thread and find a lot of helpful info. But, the frustrating part is that so many people post about trying out Tricide-Neo and say they will update. We can't find any posts with the actually updates or results. Has anyone actually successfully used the Tricide-Neo?

Welcome to BYC.
I have used Tricide Neo and it was successful clearing up small to medium sized bumblefoot infections. There's much longer soaking times for larger bumblefoot infections.
If you have the time and patience soaking a birds foot each day, twice a day for one week rather than doing minor surgery, Tricide Neo is your answer.

It worked for me & that's what I did the 1st time we had bumblefoot. I also found that colorless iodine also worked very well - and can easily be found at any pharmacy/ 1st aid section.

Soak with Epsom salt
apply colorless iodine
make up a gauze pad with:
drawing salve (Ichthammol Ointment -like Prid)
triple antibiotic ointment (w/o the toxic pain relief)
if swelling is very bad hemorrhoid ointment
Bandage foot with strips of vet wrap to make the typical bootie

Repeat every other day (or daily if you have the time) until it shrinks and the scab falls off.

I too have had success with Tricide-Neo. Also had success with Epsom Salt soaks and Iodine. I think with both methods a key element is to massage the infected area in an effort to remove the scab or "plug".
Once it is open treat with iodine and wrap to keep the wound clean.
Also, be sure to look for sharp things that would cut a chicken's foot.

i bet if you take a needle burn the end with a lighter and stick it into the staft filled areas it will start coming out with a little squeeze the trcide draws the stapt output gloves on cover face
