Who's a little tubby?

Sounds like true confessions time. Here's my take on the whole 'junk in the trunk' (which I LOVE, btw, thanks for that!!).

I got married at 130 lbs. I swear THE NEXT DAY I weighed over 200. ???!!!! Anyway, I did a Weight Watchers type of thing locally and lost 40 lbs in 3 months. Gained 50 and have gained and lost 20-30 lbs repeatedly since.

Two years ago, I had food poisoning, lost 8 lbs in ONE day. Came out of it craving fruit. By the end of the second week, I was down 14 lbs. Then mom got sick, then the in laws got sick, then this, then that. See where I'm going with this?

Bottom line is that if I were to eat right, exercise more, and be more mindful of my health, I wouldn't be overweight at all. People talk about Atkins and South Beach and Weight Watchers and and and and....... But, for me, when I'm told "You can't eat this or that", I'm gonna eat a truck load of ALL of it just to prove that I can eat it.

Focus on the positive. Focus on what is good for you, that you enjoy eating. Don't deprive yourself.

Now, if I can learn to practice what I'm preaching.....................
