Is this a black breasted red modern game bird?

she looks like a bb red of some sort, she could be an american game bantams but those are kinda rare. 100% sure she isnt a modern, and 99% sure she's not a OEGB.

That's pretty sure. She's not a bantam. I don't think she's very rare, but she is still one-of-a-kind to us. Thanks.

That looks like a good old fashioned game hen to me! Not modern, they are very tall looking. All legs so to speak.

She looks a lot like my hens. They are "BBRED" in color.

The Brothers of these hens all have Black breast, Red on their neck, shoulder, and saddle, with black tails.

I'm pretty sure they are not black-breasted red modern game ( as i own some myself), but i'm pretty confident they are Golden Silicon Buttercup. Look them up on -images to be certain. take my thoughts into concideration.

The issue with her being a Buttercup is she is single combed, so if she carries the Buttercup gene she is a cross. Another issue, is her color is solid BBred color, while a Buttercup hen's color is more closely related with a Redquill or the like, orange with black spots throughout the pattern.

This is a old thread though.

God bless,
Daniel. :)

Idk but I wouldn't mind having her on my yard lol she nice looking
Hi I got Ruby and Rosy form someone who told me they were black breasted red modern game birds? Or red, blackbreasted modern game birds.  If that is right I don't know why, they certainly aren't black breasted and they aren't really red either.   Does anyone know what they are?

Edited to add: Also, because I'm bad at the picture thing, I uploaded some pics earlier, very proud of myself for dong so, but now I can't find them and it says I can't upload duplicates?  Where are my pictures living?  How do I get to them? I hate to be so computer illiterate.. . .

I think I have one of these too! Can you post on what you found out? Any links, information, past experiences - everything will be appreciated. Thanks!

There (Hatch) game chickens looks like green legged hatch to me but any game hen grey hatch Kelsos, blues are all great setters whether your raising game birds or wanna put with your farm stock which is ok cause you breed a farm rooster to game hens the offspring will more and likely be aggressive but won't fight to the death like a full blooded game rooster
