Yikes!!!!

I thought about letting it go but it was so stuck. It was dead by the time I went back out to look at it anyway. I hope there aren't any more. Poor thing....lol...it was eating the chicken scratch though so it had to go.
 
I don't like using those sticky traps. We used them once many years ago in an attempt to rid ourselves of rats. We ended up snaring garder snakes and songbirds. It took a long while for them to die. Every time they writhed around to escape, they just got stuck more in bizarre contortions. It just seems too cruel to me. Even a rat that steals my chicken or dog food doesn't deserve to die like that.
We still have a problem with rats, we just try other methods (not poisen either, we lost a dog that way).
