I am so disappointed-I have an easter egg hunt for church in the morning, but I am right around the corner from there :( What time is the swap?

I just picked up some new babies today! I got 2 barred rock, 1 aussie, and even though it wasn't on my list, one new silkie that has spots and stripes! Super pretty. I looked down in a bin that had about 100 birds and she caught my eye, couldn't leave her there. But she is a bantam, so she only counts as half a chicken :) I ended up trading my EE boy to the breeder for one of her chickens, so I am down to one roo, my turken. But I love him so much! I couldn't believe how hard it was to leave my EE Roo there  But I needed more hens and at this point, have limited space.

I STILL need one EE gal. Maybe I can run into the swap and find one?

Okay address is 3419 Hwy 542 E in Lakeland. It says things get under way about 8am and it's usually over between 11 and 12.

Thanks for posting the date/time Mommyto3! I'm planning to be there in Lakeland. Dunnellon is just too far at $4 a gallon.  I need these roosters to find good homes. The challenge will be not taking anything home! 

I am definitely taking my chickies tomorrow with me as well. I need someone who knows more about them, to make sure none of them have impacted crop. I can't tell, but some of them seem like they might....I thought I did everything right, but now I realized I know next to nothing about chicks

Not a problem. :) What all are you bringing? I know, I really want to go to the one in Dunnellon as well, but gas is so pricey!! Although, if we wnet there we could stop by so the kids can see grandma and grandpa.

Looks like I may be going to the Lakeland swap. I just have a Iowa Blue Rooster and 7 mixed chicks to sell, but I want to meet Crossgirl and some others.  

Anyone live near Land O Lakes and coming East soon?  I found someone that has a lovely pair of dumbo rats for sale and I reaalllly really want them but that is SO far :(
