Hi everyone! I'm Tammy. I live in Fort Mccoy. (NE of Ocala). I am obsessed with chickens and am glad to be a part of this community. :)

I don't know if I can say this here, but, I am looking for either a couple guinea fowl OR incubator and fertilized eggs. I don't know much about where to find these things. I would rather get things from people around me rather than hatcheries.

I am so excited! I hope to find crazy chicken ppl like me!! :)

Tammy

ps, is there a group on facebook? if not, i think there should be. it'd be easier for me to keep up with. just a thought. THanks!

Hi Tammy, I'm Nancy in Central Florida near DeLand and 30 miles West of Daytona Beach. I'm also obsessed with chickens. They provide hours of entertainment. I can't quit watching them.

I have guinea fowl eggs in my incubator which should hatch in three weeks. I also have Rouen duck eggs. As you can see, I have become very addicted. When I tell my husband I have to go somewhere, he says, "How many?"

If you don't get your guineas and would like to purchase some of mine, let me know. If you do, let's exhange Guinea tales.
I live in West Volusia County with my husband, two dogs, ten six-month old chickens, a pair of true Araucanas, a zillion Araucana chicklets, 4 Rouen ducks, guinea fowl and keets, several peachicks, one whiney turkey poult, and 4 Sevastopol geese. Join this FaceBook group if you live in this area. and want to connect with other people who love their chickens. http://www.facebook.com/groups/42474...

I posted on this thread last summer but would to offically wave hello from Bartow Florida!!

We are the proud owners of a 6 acre mini farm that currently only consist of us, our 2 horses, a dog and a cat. We are looking forward to adding a flock of chickens, a duck or 3, some goats and a cow but all in good time.
