Call Duck Eggs: Artifical Versus Natural Incubation

I had infertile eggs from my call duck pair for about a month due to some or other reason. They recently started to produce fertile eggs and 100% hatch rate was achieved with the following settings in a Grumbach incubator:

Temperature 37.5 degrees Celsius
Relative humidity: 55%
Eggs were not turned the first 24 hours after setting.
Eggs were also not turned the last 3 days prior to hatching and the humidity was not increased to 60 or 70% during that last days to hatching prescribed by all manufacturers of incubators.

I read an article indicating that eggs should not be turned during the first 24 hours which allow the development of the embryo to start to develop without any disturbance and it seems to be working well as I am using this method with all waterfowl eggs and it seem to have positive impact on the early development of the embryo.

I now placed hooded merganser and other type of waterfowl eggs in the incubator and this far, seems to be going well.

Just mentioned what I did for what it might be worth.
