Is nest box to BIG? - Page 2

Do y'all have any feed back on the nesting troughs? I have a 60X18X18 ready and was going to divide it into 3 large boxes but this sounds much better. I have really big chickens and was wondering if this maybe too tall? I have 3 boxes now they all use the "big" box 16x16x16 and the we have a traffic jam that I have to solve. thoughts?

I have huge nesting boxes, and no troubles.

They like the smaller ones though. tongue.png

Please define huge? Should I make them shorter? I know the minute I put this in they will start using all the other boxes.

My experience with undivided nesting boxes is my bossy BR would chase the other hens out of the nesting area, so for me having my two nesting boxes with a divider works better.
