I just got the male turkey a couple of weeks ago, just curious what kind he is?  I also have two hens, just curious what kind they are as well?  Thanks!

Bronzes maybe?

Currently mildly obsessed with Queen. What a great band! Why didn't I appreciate them five years ago?

Look at the pics of this website. Maybe you can identify them from this place. They have a LOT of different breeds.

Did you see the tom's wings? They arent barred like a wild turkeys would be. Those turkeys have to be mixed.

The gobbler is a Black Spanish mixed with either a standard bronze or wild. Note the three bronze feathers on his shoulder and one tail feather that is barred. The rest of his plumage looks like black spanish.  The first hen appears to be bronze mixed with maybe chocolate, or more likely some black spanish. The second hen looks like eastern wild, but not a pure eastern wild. Probably a mix.
That's my analysis.smile

The male may be a Bronze.  I think the hens are Red-Bronze, which is a cross of Bronze and Bourbon Red.  I have a Red-Bronze pair and the hens look exactly like mine.  I have hatched 4 of their eggs, looks like I got 2 Bronze, 1 Red-Bronze and 1 Bourbon Red.
