I'm right there with you, due to hatch April 6, 7 and 8.  2 full incubators with Dorkings, Australorps and Brahmas.  First candling next week, fingers crossed! clap This is just my second time, first time not great, but hoping to learn from my mistakes and have lots of fluffballs in a few weeks! pop

ya YAYYYY another Fun Month coming up.  First of all Save the Favs.  I love your chicks from March.  I was not aware of a blue faverolle.  Very nice though.

Ok, here it is.  March 16th, I started in the incubator
19 Partridge Cochins,13Mille Fleur D'Uccles bantams,4 Ameraucanas, and 2 EE's.  My Faverolles got mixed with the wrong rooster so I had to seperate them and couldn't incubate them for 30 days so I will not have a mixed Faverolles, but next time I hope to do a full incubator of them.

I CAN'T STOP!!

I am 100% of my Silver Penciled Rock bantam eggs developing they are due on the 5th of April. Then I have 12 D'uccles set due the 7th and I am setting more faverolles soon.

Don't worry, you're obviously not alone here!

You've got a great group started there in the bator & some fancy colors coming.  We'll see your Favs going next time around, will they be standards or bantams?

Yes, there are Blue Salmon Faverolles, they are what I started with.  The slate grey color replaces the black on the body color of the roos & replaces the black/or dark feathers in the wings on the hens.  The blue "gene" comes into play (blue, black & splash), but I haven't seen it except in crossing the Favs to the Wheaton Ameraucanas (which I'm done doing now).  So, they are Blue Salmon & sometimes you get just the Salmon offspring.  If you love Faverolles, be sure to check out the 'Faverolles thread' by hcammack.  http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=3828708#p3828708

Here
are my 2 bantam roos Pepe Le Peu (Salmon) & Pierre Le Garre (Blue Salmon)

Will add my Blue Salmon hen here when I find a pic to post.

Henry, you've always got something new & interesting going on in your breeding programs.  Great fertility too!
