I love the punk-rock peepers!

My family consists of 1 DH, who is more tolerant than anyone should be; 5 children, ages 7 and under and one due any day now; 3 totally annoying dogs, and 12 chickens!

I got some of the big girls too.

I've been photographically neglecting them so here's some to make up for it...

No one is named except for One Dot.  Black Australorp after just taking a dust bath.

And of course - One Dot herself!

After seeing this pict I thought she had a fox-tail in her nostril so I picked her up and Tammy got the tweezers.

It was just a grass seed.

So I'm in the grow out pen, camera-less and I'm holding one and another jumps on my wrist.

I tried to stage the shot after getting the camera but no way it looked as cute.

My regal Spit-en-peeper!

Look at the wings on these 6 week olds!

I watched one hover 3-1/2 feet off the ground for several seconds deciding whether on not she wanted to go over the pen fence.

How time flies when you're having fun. Your girls are beautiful. Is good to be overprotective. I would have done the same.

Time to show off my babies. They grow too quickly for sure. Was a nice day out, so I put them in their new home for the day. They enjoyed jumping on their roost. The big girls didn't seen to care that they were around.

L-R

Veronica (BR) Roberta (SLW) Zsa Zsa (SLW)- 18 days old

Olivia and Eliza (EE's)- 25 days old

Cooper (10 months) got to "play" with the babies yesterday. He grunts at them to call them. They are faster than he is.

Hubby took this one. I was sitting on the floor with the girlies and they all jumped on my arm.

Love my BYC shirt. Thanks Mikey.

Hi you all. things have been busy here and have not been here in a awhile. After realizing that my New Years flock is not where near laying and I am sick of paying $3 a carton or more for eggs I am searching for a few quiet breed layers. If anyone has some orpingtons, Austrolorps, or other quiet layers i would be looking for 3-4. They would have a great home with a poolside view. Please send me a message if you have any.
