We got awful wind here in Wittmann also! Didn't let the chickens our today. Fear they would blow away!

 i am deciding which breeds to keep

and which to rehome its not an easy decision

A photographer was invited to a dinner where the host complemented him by saying, "Your photographs are amazing, you must have an expensive camera".  To which he did not reply.  At the end of the meal he turned to his host and said, " Your dinner was excellent, you must have an expensive oven."

Thanks for the advice, I had  heard that Anna apples did well even as low in altitude as we are and as hot as we get. I did find out though , they need another pollinator near by. I have had peaches, plums and apricots before, they did ok but my efforts were nothing to brag about.  An attack of a boring beetle or whatever it was did them in, I remember the peaches did the best though. Hoping Gilbert revises it's chicken restrictions soon, I'm chomping at the bit to start my coop and use all this stuff I've been gathering. I just can't get enough of all of this stuff, i think I'm hooked. Meanwhile I'm still learning and drawing up plans. Thanks again

Ya it was crazy windy here today also, i couldn't let my silkies out since they have babies and i didn't want them to get blown around or two cold, so they were locked up for the day. =( Also i dont know what it is but One of my Ameracauana went broodie today. LOL so now i have 2 silkies with chicks, one one eggs and my ameracauna sitting on golfballs. LOL

What Gilbert restrictions are you talking about?  From everything I can research and read is that there aren't any restrictions in Gilbert?  I am in Chandler and they limit the number to 10 and no Roos.  Is there a restriction in Gilbert that I'm not aware of?
