No Chumly only ended hooking up with the Black Orpington and now he found a new home with Memphis. I'm considering maybe incubating some of the upcoming eggs though. What do you get with a splash roo over a black hen? 50% blue and 50% black?

Actually you have 3 blue Marans, a black Orpington, and the Olive egger. The Cuckoo Marans is the dad of all those chicks except for the Orp, It either has a Barnevelder(slim chance) or English Splash Orp as a father. I have no Idea where the brown coloring came from on that Blue.hu.gif
Just got to thinking, if a hen had more then 1 roo does it "hold on to" both supplies?

Thank you, Kev. When I was there, I was like: "ooh, I'll take that one...what's that one...I really want THAT one...". Your poor wife. AND I had all my kids there. (but 2 were sleeping in the car wink.png)

My family consists of 1 DH, who is more tolerant than anyone should be; 5 children, ages 7 and under and one due any day now; 3 totally annoying dogs, and 12 chickens!

I was bathing her tonight as I had found some mites on her and eggs on another gal. Glad I soaked all of her or I would never had found this. What gets me is that I had checked her neck maybe a week ago and never saw this?? I am a bad chicken mama hit.gif

Definitely not a bad chicken mama!

Maybe it is part Muscove?

(Sorry, I had to say it.)

I cant imagine your neighbors like you with him around.  HOLY LOUD.  it is fine here because our coop is pretty far from the house.  You should have seen my sunday morning trying to get him to shut up before he woke everyone up in tempe!!
