Still sick... but I was able to eat more today than yesterday.  Must have been the extra strength Tylenol.

YES! And I am quite happy to go "egg hunting" each day! All the ladies put themselves to bed tonight with no light or coaxing from me at all! I put them in the coop last night, they are really fast learners! Thanks to you, I simply must get a mulberry tree now, those berries are so yummy! droolin.gif

Also, it was really great getting to see Nova the other day, and I'm glad that the girls seem to be settling in.

The cockerels I got from Mahonri are some seriously good looking birds.  I'm going to process the first one tomorrow, he's an EE who is starting to get hormonal and I don't like how rough and aggressive he is with the girls.  Friday, we'll have southern-fried jerkface for dinner .  I'm still hoping I can find homes for the three Icelandic boys, I just can't stand the idea of eating something that rare.

lau.gif  Yeah, a bit more difficult.  You should read what AZ BYC member ca went through getting her Sumtaler eggs imported.  Here's a taste of it from her website.

How come not to just slip eggie weggs in box & paste "Mikey's House" on label & ship?

Bats are GREAT, but, bats will not eat flies!  Bats only eat insects that are out at night and sadly flies are not :(  . On the other hand they are great for mosquitos and fun to watch!  Now the Muscovies are usually GREAT for flies, but then I LOVE Muscovies  love.gif just for being themselves!!!  All said who really needs to add MORE toxins to our envitonment!  Good luck!  P.S.  I have heard that planting citronella plants will ward off alot of insects and pretty much nothing will eat them!  I am not sure if they grow in AZ tho!

What smelly fly trap is everyone talking about? Can you show a picture? How much does it cost?

I dont have a pic, but they are fairly cheap, and you can get reuseable ones or disposable ones.  They work best when you use a few/several scattered around the property nearby the heavy fly areas.  They really do stink bad tho, but work Great!  Most feed and hardware stores carry them!
