Changes in Endangered poultry list!

I can count on one hand the amount of people that I have seen that have true Rhode Island Whites.. The breed that the hatcheries are passing of as Rhode Island Whites is no where close to the real thing... ( Rhode Island Whites dont have single comb and as far as I know they never did. )

The inclusion of international numbers is a hinderence. Take the Malays for example, there are very, very few Malays in the states that would meet the golden "SOP".

Are there resources for raising and increasing the flocks for those birds? We are raising them with plans currently being implemented, no pipedreams here, to greatly expand our Sultan flock, but now that we know the Lakenvelder is high up the list, we could easily increase that flock as well...Just checking...
