Leghorns are great egg laying chickens. They are friendly to other Leghorns and can easily fly. The only problems is that they are bad in the pecking order and they can make a mess of the yard....

I'm going to start a Guinea Fowl thread for everyone to post their Guinea pictures! I don't have any Guineas yet but I'm hoping to get some very soon You can also add any info/stories about Guineas!

I raise Kazan tumbler pigeons, Old german owl pigeons, Homing pigeons, Dragoon pigeons d'Anver bantams, Silkies, Leghorn bantams, Easter eggers, Australorps, Call ducks, Embden geese and Coturnix quail. I no longer have mine. Had to choose the chickens over them and rehome them after they kept beating up my red hens (no others) and my rooster, but I really enjoyed them! Have lots of pics. Had one pearl hen and two lavender males and one lavender female.

How on earth did you get yours to fly on you?! Mine are scared to death and i have been working with them since they where babies.
