Good score at the Rural King

I am thrilled to have checked in on Rural King to see if they got the Easter Eggers in, not only did they get them in all  PULLETS but they had an assorted "fancy breed" selection. straight run but OH my I got "I think" 3 white crested black polish, 2 white crested blue polish, some kind of cochin, 2 mottled houdan, and maybe 2 splash polish. I also got 7 ameraucana's or EE whatever, nice assortment of colors....hopefully.

Hard to take pictures in the brooder.......see if you can pick any out

Chick Chick Eggers home to 5 Black Maran, 6 Speckled Sussex, 4 Salmon Favorelle, 6 Welsummer, 1 BO, 1 BR, 1 RIR, 1 SLW, 7 EE's. The rest of the gang are 2 Pinto Miniature horses. Black/White Standard Parti Poodle and a Smooth Fox Terrier.

they are sooooooo cute!!!!!!

I must agree, this batch is really cute. The EE's are super cute and the little polish with their "egg" heads. I just didn't think my first group of BO, RIR, BR and SLW were very cute. But these, these are cute

Well I think I'm going to loose on of my Houdan's. It just never took off like the rest, its super small and not eating. It looks like it wants to eat but then just walks away. it is still drinking and walking around I have been giving it some probiotics, yogurt, whatever I can poke down its tiny little mouth.

Ours has a 6 chick and 5 duck minimum.
