Oh my Word! What an unusual egg!

so... just popped out to collect the eggs after dinner and found two, our hens are begining to lay again which is great but how random is this ! lollollol
and .. i just started the incubator up so was thinking how funny it would be if it hatched .. but then again .. maybe not !

It's a fart egg and it probably has no yolk.  But it's very cute!

We had one like that last summer, it had no yolk.

Pullets will lay those small eggs when they first start to lay, some do some don't.
Sometimes they have no yolk, sometimes they do.
Your hens may be getting warmed up again if they are not pullets and were laying regular eggs before.
Even if it were fertile I would advise against trying to hatch it, it won't go well.

I got one like that and it wasnt a "fart" egg it had a yolk and everything!  Just super tiny.  Not sure which hen it came from tho.
