Will the resulting offspring be sex-linked?

Thanks!

I'm not sure. Scroll down to the 'Black Sex-Link' part of this article. http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=261208 In the chart he has, there is a Blue Andalusian. He also says that

3) one of the birds must be homozygous for extended black or carry two extended black genes and
...
5). Almost any variety (color) of male ( not including white) can be used in a black sex linked cross. White birds sometimes carry dominant white which would not work in a black sex linked cross. White males that do not carry dominant white will work as the male in a black sex linked cross. White males like the white wyandotte or the white plymouth rock will work if they do not carry dominant white.

Maybe you could PM him (tadkerson) and ask him what he thinks?

I believe yes, it will. BR hens pass barring to their sons. Should be an interesting cross, really. Will be a green egg layer anyway.

According to the Kip Calculator, the male offspring will be barred and the female offspring will be either black or blue.

My roo is a black Jersey Giant and the hen is a Cuckoo Maran, and she hatched to black chicks with the traditional light spot on the head and one coal black chick.  I lost the black one which I think was a female and the two that remained  have grown into very large barred birds.  I am thinking they are roos as well.

Thanks! I hatched out one such cross yesterday, and was wondering if there will be any way to tell the gender by color. I don't have experience with chicks though, so I'm not sure what a barred bird looks like when it hatches. This one has black beak and feet, which was a surprise to me....But I don't know much about all this. The lamp makes it look brownish, but it looks blue to me in person.

Can't tell yet, but you should be able to when her wing feathers come in good. I have had several different crosses with a BR  hen as the mother and all males are barred, all females are basically black or blue, but I did once get some spangled pullets from an EE/BR cross, which was unexpected.

Thanks. Any way to tell right now whether it will be barred or not?

No, not till the feathers come in. If you see a head spot, it may be male, just like in a black sexlink type chick.
