Duck Pond/pool pictures

Pics
I’m going to add gravel rocks around the pool to keep the ground less muddy. They have paver steps and love their pool.

I had a beautiful 12x12 duck run built last Fall (waited for 17 years to get one lol) attached to my beautiful new Reeds Ferry Shed coop.

When the builder was done I painted THREE layers of Ames Safe-T deck sealant on the plywood floors. I had read it would stand up to duck and chicken poop plus daily hose spray downs. Unfortunately it DIDN’T last two weeks and I went through a very frustrating winter (I live in MA). It’s about 90% peeled up and am back to bare plywood now.

I’ve blocked the animals out for about a month now and have fans blowing on the floors to really dry them out.

I’m looking for tried and true recommendations for a product that will seal the plywood and stand up to fowl poop and water sprays (plus dripping from their messy bathing & drinking habits 🙄)

Please help!!

My husband built a quick duck hut for our ducklings but we want to build a better one for when they're older. Any ideas to help with easy cleanup, egg grabbing, food and water refilling? Pics would be massively helpful!

So, these pics are our duck house, duck enclosure, duck pool, and foraging area behind the duck house. The pool is drained with a hole and pipe we burried under the pool that goes out beyond the grapevine poles to drain in the pasture. We 'open' the drain line at the end of the pipe in the pasture with a turn knob. We ran pipes from the well to the duck enclosure and created a shower head over the pool to fill it without holding a hose. We also ran a line for a hose at the duck enclosure bc we clean out the pool twice a day since it is free well water. The cottage my Master Wood Craftsman hubby whipped up, I love that the windows are hinged and the chimneys don't let water in but do vent.
