apple cider vinegar in water.?? lother egg laying tricks

That's true for cottonseed meal also. Too much of it and your yolks will turn salmon, green, or almost black. And I've heard repeatedly on here never give your chickens dairy (except yogurt). My chickens have no problem with ACV in their water - I even put it in my dog's water - but my cat won't touch it. I give my chickens black oil sunflower seeds mixed with their scratch and during the winter gave them a higher protein layer pellet and they layed all winter - never missed a beat.

We use the ACV for many reasons, it helps there immune system, helps fight internal parisites , helps there bones, and helps with there shine and smooth feathers, we also use a acv in water to bath as well our chickens.

I use ACV - its an immune booster and is also very good for horses! Probably quite good for humans aswell if truth is known

The only thing I absolutely say it helps is it DOES keep their plastic waterer cleaner/fresher longer. I hope it is doing all the other great things, but I feel good using it regardless.
