I apologize for hi-jcking this thread. The genetics are the same so I didn't think it would hurt.
But I DO apologize.
And I am thankful that I got the answers I was looking for, I hope that everyone else also learned from this.
The breeds are different but the genetics of the colors are the same.
thanks for the help.
Chery;

25% gold laced pullets
25% silver laced pullets
25% silver laced cockerels
25% silver laced with the yellow sheen cockerels

If you cross a Gold Sebright male with a Silver Sebright female, you get the Gold X Silver sex linked results of Gold Pullets and Silver males, with the males showing brass in their necks.
If you cross a Silver male with a Gold female, all the progeny will be silver, the pullets will appear pure, but the males, as in the first cross, will show gold leakage.

I have a chance to buy some sebright chicks that come from a silver hen an a golden hen , that are bred back to a silver roo ...
so was wondering if the cross between colors would still bring true colors

Sebrights are so hard to find.. not many people breed them an they are my favorite bantams/chickens

not for sure why tho...

but oh I
