Rhode Island White Thread

This is a thread devoted to the Rhode island white...NOT THE RHODE ISLAND RED. They are separate breeds and I hope everyone knows that. This breed seems to be pretty uncommon as I have only seen like two other people on this site with them.

Both comb styles are accepted.

Post some pics of your RIWs or any information about the breed.

This is the first post from this thread and I would like to add if you show your birds at sanctioned poultry shows, only the Rose Comb Rhode Island White is recognized by the APA.

beautiful! i just started raising chicks. i chose RIW's. i love them. they are now 8.5 weeks. would you be so kind as to show pictures of full grown RIW hens only? i am trying to definitively determine if I have One male or two.
