Just for fun I went up into the dark an very dusty attic and took pictures of my Breyers, just because I am curious.

These are all from the mid 80's-to mid 90's, except for Pilgrim. I don't remember to much about most of them but I thought you mike like to see them and maybe tell me a little about them.

This one I know, he's called Dreamcatcher.

I think this may be Pluto the Lipizzaner if I remember right??

I believe this is Some famous race horse.

This is Dan Patch a race horse. He has suffered a broken leg, unfortunately and has been temporarily (for about 15 years now) repaired until I can find someone who can repair him properly.

Of course you must know Pilgrim from the Horse Whisperer. He's never been out of the box.
Sorry, the lighting isn't so good and excuse the dust.

Those are cool. I loved the Christmas one they came out with this year!
I still have my unicorn and pegasus made my them, my dad gave them to me in the early 80's.

Your Breyers make my mouth water. I have about 170 of them. Been collecting them since I was 10. I love the Dan Patch. Its a shame he's broke. I watch them on Ebay all the time. You might find someone on there you does repairs. I heard its real easy.

Thanks for the advice Farmgirl, I will look into a repair kit. It's a clean break, he was one of my first Breyers and I was a kid, took him to show and tell and someone sat on my back pack.

I think if had known how collectible these guys are when i was a kid I would have not played with them so much but then again they were my favorite "toys".

Nice Breyers! I have around 230 at last count. you can fix breyers with an accetone glue it works best with the type of Plastic The Breyers are.

forgot to add; The First horse you have is the Proud Arabian Mare, and the Second one is the Stock Horse Mare in Peppercorn? and the appy foal (Action stock horse foal)goes with the stock horse mare, but I'm not sure of the dates made

I have Dan Patch too; one of my first Breyer's. My poor guy has some wear and tear from falling over...doesn't stand well at all.

Okay...I was just informed that my eggs were down to 90 degrees because the darn corn stove went out...off to plug up the holes that I had open to control humidity

Thanks for the information! I didn't realize Dan Patch was limited edition!

Oh well, they are going to DD if she wants them when she is much, much older...or maybe I'll just keep them safe in their little stable.

LOL the attic carpet looks like pasture, too.

Hope your eggs are okay BrahmaMama!
