i've got 1 white pullet, no roos. how about a white/black pairing or white/splash?  8)  i could even do white/mille fleur mix if you want. but she'd have to start spitting out eggs soon.  8)

bantam cochins btw.  maybe someone will have a white roo at a swap soon. sold my only white roo (her sire) because he was too lazy to do the job anymore.

and NO, i'm not joining the swap at this time... the white isn't laying yet, and practically all the rest of my cochins are broody. and 4/5 dorking girls are hiding their eggs somewhere.

Ah, I'm looking for a friend, who just lost her whites to a fox or coyote (she isn't sure which, small and doglike she said). Figured trading here if I see them would be best since she is in no rush.

well surprise surprise... i have some 'mixed flock' cochins hatching right now, and first one out is white!  LOL  now just cross fingers the reds get there. one's pipped, the other hasn't yet.  it's aggravating, as today is day 23...  think my temps were low in the incubator, since everything in there's hatching slow...  i was concerned for the lack of development and set a few of the eggs in another incubator for a couple days and they look back on track, just 2 days past where they should have been...  well, i'd rather have cool than hot.  i can wait an extra day or 3. LOL  as long as everyone's out by tonight, i'll be gone until sunday morning otherwise.

once i get back i'll be re-callibrating the 4th incubator. LOL  it's a spare but still.  i'd rather have it working right 'just in case'.
