How Old Do Bobwhite Have To Be To Start Laying??? And How Much Light Do They Need ??? Thanks John

They start laying at about 23 weeks sometimes more sometimes less but 23 or 6 months is when they usually lay. And they need 17 hours of sunlight or artificial light to stimulate them to start laying.

They are warm season layers. They only tend to lay from Mid-Spring to Mid-Fall. Mine haven't started yet this year
