Has anybody tried, or had any experience with this predator light in their Chicken yard, and/or garden. It is advertised as unconditionally gauranteed to keep away foxes, coyotes, wolves, bears, deer, raccoon, skunk, any and all wild animals? They consist of a solar powered blinking red led light, that represents the eye of a predator.

I have used this since I got my chickens and have had no problems. I absolutely swear by them. They hold up great to our Montana winters too. If you want to you could do a search on this site. There have been numerous threads on this subject. Not everyone agrees with me but I stand by this product. If you have any questions I will do my best to answer them.

I had made a search, but I came up with so many links, that in reading through many of them I only found one about this item, and it was like mine, making an inquiry. I have pasted below a link to their websight, and their claims, which are hard to believe.

I don't know about the success with predators I don't have of course but this what we do have. Fox,coon, coyote, deer (not predator but garden invaders

and badgers. Seriously we have had NO issues. In the summer we camp and can be gone 2 or 3 days a week. We leave our coop pop door open the whole time we are gone. We have never come home to a dead or missing bird. )knocks on wood

) Of course I lock them up when we are home. We have spotted these predators in our fields down the road but not around our yard.

I know what you mean about the links. There are quite a few. People read about this and think, wow, can that really work. All I can say is that it has worked wonderfully for us.

It is a solar powered light that is mounted at the height specified for you particular predator. The light is supposed to represent another predator. It gives the illusion that "something" is all ready there.

I've been looking into getting these, but I'm wondering how many to get???? I haven't put my chickens outside yet, so I am unaware of what predators are out there for mounting purposes either.
