Can I vaccinate my adult bantam with the fowl pox shot for chicks?

I have 22 chicks which I need to vaccinate for fowl pox, and I was just wondering if I could vaccinate my adult bantam cochin with the same stuff, or will it be detrimental or ineffective?
 
I was thinking you had to give them the shot as chicks or it wouldnt work.. Sorry I dont know for sure .. But I am sure others will
