Yeah, I always include a note to say what's in the box and who I am so you can mark it as receive on your log and you don't wonder if I ever sent my eggs out.  I'm sure to put my handle on the note.  I buy a lot of eggs and swap a lot of eggs so I'm often digging around through email and paypal trying to figure out where the eggs came from.

I thought the name on the box looked familiar but I couldn't find an email, pm, or paypal transaction to match.  They look like Welsumer eggs...

@Frenchtoast: I already did all the work (and wrote all the formulas) just download those to excel and modify them as needed.  If you want me to just email them to you I can do that as well.

@ Daze: As far as keeping the dates straight...  I only have 2 tabs to look at to determine what's next in the que.  I double check the log before offering an availability date so I don't double book - I know what I can expect to collect in each pen in an average day.  I'm working on a "mail out summary page" right now.  The formula's will be complicated but if I do enough research I should be able to get it figured out.  I'll update the spreadsheet so you can steal shamelessly. smile.png

I guess thats why it's the crazy egg chain - it keeps us crazy chicken addicts up to our armpits in babies... I think it must be kind of like how gambling addicts feel.... I get all filled up with the anticipation and the closer I get to hatch time the more on edge I get... Then, BAM!!! I have a pip and I go crazy!  OMG!  wee.gif

Breeder of World Champions and Honor Roll Champions and High Point winners. I love to trail ride and camp with my friends.

Lucky you. I waited saying come on that them! I really don't need them!!
Then after a while I was like... Well I have brichen marans that I got and hope hatch for making oe's.
These are so close in color they would work well to work on breeding a sound line of brichen oe's.
As y'all can tell I caved around midnight while wrapping eggs!
I have two dickey 3 trays that have some open but I have painfully kept room for Sq Jg eggs I paid good sound money for. I also have a 6 tray gqf hatcher that is kept full too.
Thankfully ( at this time) I have 3 was 4 but sold one off with a quad broody hens 2 slw been sitting on air and there is no braking them! Along with a blrw hen now broody. I'm telling it's like one sees the other go broody and they are like yep looks like fun.
So the free loaders are going to be put to work now! wink.png
I am calling it midnight madness .
As that is when everyone but me is asleep and no one knows till the eggs show up. 😂 👿 evil I know.....

Tonya, I need to give you my number or something so that you can call me when you get the urge to go posting something on an egg chain. You could call me anytime! You know I've been looking for some more of your eggs. droolin.gif. This getting up early for work thing is getting in the way of my hatching addiction.

How far are you from martinsburg wv ?
We are having a swap April 21 @ the Martinsburg,WV. 25401 tractor supply parking lot.
From 8 am till noon or when everyone packs up.
I will have around 200 chicks, poults ,ducklings,Wishard Bronze breeding pair of turkeys.
Some breeder blrw hens, some started chicks.
Some plastic egg trays for bators, 30 lb feeders. I think that is it. All though hubby is now talking about keeping the turkeys.
The toms are more like pets. They don't care even while breeding if we are in there .
Oh I will have hatching eggs there too.
I will tell you if I see gamebirdsonly welsummers up again I may snag them again.
I did not relize how much I missed those dark eggs so much
