Aloe Vera Juice for Chickens?

Thread Starter

Hi,

Does anyone know the appropriate amount of aloe vera juice to mix in a gallon of water for the flock and also an individual amount for a hen?  I want to give it to my flock for overall well being but I have a hen that isn't feeling well and I want to give her a direct dose.

Thanks.
Michelle

Never heard of doing that for chickens. Maybe you mean ACV? ACV is Apple Cider Vinegar. If that is what you mean it is one teaspoon per gallon of water.

Hi,

I am not sure how much aloe vera juice you would mix with water.  I pull and peel 1 whole stem from my plants and peel the spines from each side, cut the stem into pieces and feed it to me entire flock this way.  I have 27, 19 week old chicks and they love aloe as a treat along with their garden weeds and grass.  My chicks are absolutely spoiled on the other hand.  They eat grapes, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, cooked rice, greens, bell pepper...
