we visited the county fair this fall and saw the cutest little duck. It was rather small although it was full grown but instead of a quack it made a laughing sound. Almost like the penguin from the batman series LOL can anyone tell me what kind of it might have been?

What colour was it?? Can you describe it at all?? I have heard a muscovy that sounded like he is laughing... but never a smaller duck.

it was brown lol I thought the name was Bantam but when I searched them they most certainly didn't look like the duck I saw.... I am almost certain it started with a B though

It was probably just a bantam breed ( that just means the duck is small ). Search grey call duck female, that might be what you are looking for!

All my ducks can do the laugh quack. It's a five quack wack. Sounds like they are laughing at a joke.

There are several ducks that are considered bantams. If you do a google image search and type in bantam ducks, you'll get lots of hits.

it looked very similar to a female mallard... I searched the grey call ...it did not have the blue that is present in pictures of the ones I saw

You mean behind the wing? If it looked like a female mallard it probably was a grey call duck since it is basically a mallard just smaller.
