seem like a good breed, if i had the room i would probably raise a batch of them they seem like they would be a good 4h starter show bird...considering i dont see many of this breed in my class...

I got to spend the day with my 22 year old daughter. We have had such a good time. We have been tye dying all day. I can't wait to see the results! Also, my Sebastopol goose eggs were delivered today!! I have been letting them rest since this morning. I will put them in the incubator tonight. Wish me luck.....I have never hatched goose eggs before

I woke up with the love of my life. I had a job to go to. My car started. i have three new peeps under my broody hen. I ate lunch with a good friend at work. i am getting ready for bed and there are 600 count sheets on the bed.

I have butterscotch oatmeal cookies to eat and tea to drink and the tea is really helping my throat. I have keets coming in the morning (hopefully... ) and can look forward to them.

I survived. We are so slammed with new projects at work, we got the word that there is currently no funding to take over the Barstow Transit system. WHEW!!!! Our local governing agency has given us FOUR expansion projects in the last month and no funding for more staff. We were very pleased to have one drop off.

Craptastic.

I came back here tonight to read stuff to cheer me up and found Debi's incredibly generous compliment.

Gosh - that worked!

And it opened up my ability to see good things again.

So I can share how great it is to see my rescue kitty, Lizbeth, sleeping comfortably on the back of the living room sofa, with both dogs asleep below her on the cushions. Harmony has been achieved!

My husband finally agreed to put a fence up around the front side of the house. No more worrying about the dogs and kids and ducks getting too close to the street once that happens.

1 husband, 1 son, 1 daughter, 1 cat, 3 dogs, 6 ducks, 7 turkeys, too many chickens of all ages and stages, and bunches of fish... Do you wonder why I'm nutts?
