One of my co-workers took me out to lunch (on her) to personally congratulate me for my upcoming retirement only 7 days and 2.5 hours from now.

Buncha Outdoor PET chickens, ducks, two Toulouse ganders, and four turkeys. Plus 2 wiener dogs, some bunnies and a rescue cat which owns me. Oh. And a house silkie....

Got to take a nice, long nap. My 50 pound bag of hay for the rabbits finally came after 2 weeks of being out of stock, and broken down trucks.

Owner of 6 rabbits, 5 hens, an Anole, and a Frog My hens:Dipsy the Polish, Doodle the Orpington, Raven the Silkie, and Tulip and Opal, the Easter Egger bantam buddies~ Can't wait for my new birds this summer! 1 Porcelain D'uccle, 1 Golden Sebright, 1 Modern Game bantam, and 1 Bantam Turken.

I stayed home the entire day except for doing one errand. I got caught up on all my laundry, did a little scrap booking and made Shish Kabobs for dinner. Now going to spend the evening relaxing and having some family time!! Couldn't ask for a better day.

Went morel hunting for the first time!
I'm joining a gang and getting a tattoo. Ok... I'm joining the Elks lodge. It's like a gang. And I was kidding about the tattoo.

Yes! I found 15 and my buddy found 21! It was a little drizzly today but any day in the woods is a great day.

Yay! for the rabbit hay delivery!   I spread orchard grass and timothy seed across the backyard a few years ago.  It has been so nice to have fresh green 'hay' for the buns, running low on cured hay would be a big worry.  

 

Had a lovely day today.  Did a therapy dog visit with my dog at a hospital, had lunch with a friend and we went together to an afternoon knitting group where I learned a lot.    A very good day.
