Nah, the State of California, Department of the California Highway Patrol will still muddle through without me. I'm retiring Tuesday with 20 years of state service (on top of 15 previous years working for another agency, so that makes 35 years in Public Safety Communications) - my last working day is Monday.

I'm done. Not "done" BAD, just done with it.

Ah, congratulations!!!!!  35 years in CalPERS may just get you a tidy sum each month.  I know I don't need a lot to make ends meet.

The dress rehearsal for The Taming of The Shrew, in which I have a lead role went very well. Wait... Does a GOOD rehearsal mean a bad performance??
