Tell me something GOOD that happened to you today.

I got the second egg from one of my hens (she'll be 3 yr. this spring) this week post their autumn molt. And I don't even provide supplemental light. Spring must be on the way!!

This thread is great.
My dog and chickens were in the yard at the same time and my dog was calm. That's a first!

I have a quote (not sure by who) I share with the at risk teenage girls I work with daily.
You may not have a good day every day
But
You can find good in everyday.

Thanks for helping me live that quote.

I am taking a Photography class this semester just for fun! Today was my first day to start to work on our first assignment, the assignment was pretty much to take pictures of whatever you wanted and get used to the functions on the camera. I was suprised how nicely some of the pictures came out and had fun taking them threw out the day =]

I took black and white photography in college and had a blast. It was such a relaxing class!

Had lunch with a dear friend who took me over to a friend of hers who has sheep and angora rabbits. I got to pet the angora rabbits, oh my goodness, so soft! Made a trade with their owner. I will spin and knit her a pair of socks for a few pounds of fiber that includes some of her rabbits' fur, musk ox, Wenslydale and Romeldale wool. Can't wait to start spinning the yarn!

I've been having a really rough time at work lately, so I've also been collecting my happiest thoughts and memories to help me make it through the day. Today, I left for work with an image of my three-year old son in my mind, gleefully jumping up and down on the bed and slapping his chest in between taking off his PJs and putting on his daytime clothes. The sheer glee of a little boy squealing and jumping up and down was probably the best thing that happened to me today.

Second runner up: When I got home, my husband SEWED a kilt for the little boy and had him try it on. It was so cute I nearly fell flat on the floor.
